At American Tent House, we strive to empower our community to live more sustainably and economically by providing access to a wide range of quality rental items, reducing unnecessary consumption and waste, and fostering a culture of reuse. 

Owning everything is financially burdensome. The average American spends approximately $18,000 annually on non-essential items, many with a short lifespan. By choosing to rent instead of buy allows access to quality items without the high cost of ownership.

With small habits change from buy to rent, we aim to reduce the demand for new products, preventing perfectly usable items from ending up in landfills and their environmental impact. In 2018, the U.S. generated 292.4 million tons of municipal solid waste, and a large portion consisted of reusable or rentable items.
